For a decade I have volunteered at the Macmillan Centre in East Grinstead, treating people at different stages of their cancer journey, including their relatives. Acupuncturists do not claim to cure cancer, but there are a huge range of clinical trials showing that acupuncture is effective at relieving side effects and symptoms of cancer treatment.

It also is effective at helping people feel calmer and more grounded through a difficult journey back to health.
